Horizon Air Resumes Seasonal Service to Kamloops/Sun Peaks, B.C., with Special Package Offers

SEATTLE – Horizon Air resumes nonstop service between Seattle and Kamloops/Sun Peaks, B.C., on Dec. 15, just in time for travelers to hit the slopes.

"With nonstop service to Kamloops, visitors can take advantage of skiing and snowboarding at nearby Sun Peaks, and those in Kamloops can easily escape to Seattle and warm weather destinations served from our Seattle hub," said Dan Russo, Horizon's director of marketing and communications.

Kamloops is host to Sun Peaks Resort, a world-class destination resort with 121 runs and 12 lifts, including three high-speed quads. There's 3,678 acres of available terrain, making it the second largest ski area in British Columbia and the third largest in Canada.

·     Save 15 percent if you book your Sun Peaks vacation package online at horizonair.com by Jan. 28, 2008, for travel completed by March 30, 2008.

Horizon's air service will run from Dec. 15, 2007, through April 5, 2008, and it will be operated with 74- and 76-seat Canadian-made Bombardier Q400 aircraft on this schedule:

·     From Seattle to Kamloops
Departs 1:20 p.m.     Arrives 2:25 p.m.

·     From Kamloops to Seattle
Departs 3:05 p.m.      Arrives 4:19 p.m.
