Horizon Air Offering Double Miles and Discounted Fares on Flights between Boise and Idaho Falls or Spokane

BOISE, Idaho — Horizon Air announced today that it will offer Double Miles on flights between Boise and Idaho Falls or Spokane, along with 25 percent off any published fare on those routes, for travel from Aug. 23 through Nov. 15, 2009.
The offer is in celebration of Horizon's new fall flight schedule for Boise and Idaho Falls, which takes effect Aug. 23 and is available for sale now.
To qualify for Double Miles, customers must be registered in the Horizon Air/Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan frequent flier program. To receive the 25 percent discount, tickets must be purchased online at horizonair.com by Aug. 22 using the discount code (ECIDAHO).
Here are highlights of Horizon's new schedule (shown further below):
• Two daily flights between Boise and Spokane are being retimed to better accommodate same-day business travel between the two cities.
• Service between Boise and Idaho Falls is being increased from one to two daily flights and also being retimed for easier same-day roundtrips.
• The once-daily nonstop service between Idaho Falls and Seattle will be discontinued, but a new same-plane, one-stop flight from Seattle to Idaho Falls (via Boise) is being added.
• Same-plane, one-stop service from Idaho Falls to Los Angeles (via Boise) is being added.
• Horizon's twice-daily Boise-Los Angeles service is being retimed to allow for more connections to and from Mexico on Horizon or Alaska Airlines.
